Ponder the great Wisdom of God as you listen to this song...
His wisdom is so much greater than mans. In I Cor 1:25 the Word tells us "The foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."
In 1 Corinthians 1:19-20 God also says, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart. Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe."
Interesting, hey? It saved us to listen to God's wisdom in the preaching we heard, even though the world views His way as folly.
Oh the wisdom of God... the wisest man can hold no candle to Him. He laughs at God in his arrogance and pride, yet God laughs at him, for the wisdom and knowledge of the Creator far surpasses every creature that is created by him.
God's people are to walk IN His Wisdom. How can you tell if a person walks in wisdom? James 3:17 tells us that "The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere." Wow, if you familiarize yourself with these descriptors, then you'll know if you're getting good advice or not. (smile) Believers, listen to someone who is giving you godly wisdom.
